Blog Post 3
This week I acquired the data to create a layer of the land use for the properties surrounding the Kromma Kill watershed. I am still working on how to best illustrate the data within ArcMap, but by next week I hope to have a draft map. Because I do not have the watershed boundary information, I am unsure of the are that should be included in the land use characteristics. Tomorrow or this week I plan on receiving the data to create the layers for watershed boundaries, river channels, as well as topography. After I create the draft map for the land use characteristics, I plan on meeting with my client and get her feedback on the map. Below is the map that I am currently working on to illustrate land use characteristics. It is far from finished, but the red point indicates where the lab on water quality is conducted along the Kromma Kill.

That looks like some intense data. Are you gonna color code the land use? Or are you only looking for particular types of land use?
